"PINK IS THE NEW BLACK"

Housework is a such a bore, so I decided to get some sun and see what the kids were up to....

This is what I came upon....

Ethan and Jed had somehow talked the neighbor into letting them ride their granddaughters PINK jeep.

The expression on Ethan's face says just how he feels about this...

He tells everyone he meets that "pink is the new black!".

Now if you look real close you can find Jed...

The expression on Jed's face says exactly how he feels about Ethan getting "the first ride".

Ethan isn't so happy anymore, can you guess why...

YOU GOT IT!

Jed got the ride... Jed got to do cool tricks...

And Jed got the girl!...
I guess pink really is the new black!!

At only 4 and 5 years old the whole idea of "my ride is better than yours", has just begun... so sad isn't it! Their testosterone levels are still so low, how will they ever go back now?

That is the funniest post ever! I loved reading it, keep 'em' coming. Sorry I never called you back, it got busy when I got home with the kids. Love that line "black is the new pink"

P.S. I have had multiple people tell me Alexis looks like Ethan, people from my ward that saw you at church even said so, funny huh!

FUNNY THINGS ETHAN SAYS

*I bought a rotisserie chicken today, when I opened it up Ethan said, "we're going to eat a dead baby pig!" When I told him it was a baby chicken he said, "but mom, he was our friend, if I get a baby chicken I'm going to hide it in my room,"
*As we were passing the meat isle in the grocery store, Ethan stopped abruptly and said to his sister pointing to some ground beef, "look it's ground-up pig brains." He was completely serious.
*During family prayer last night Ethan said, "please bless my little sister that she will poop in the potty, and please bless our president Obama that he will learn some manners."
* Ethan was begging to go to Jed's this morning. I told him he couldn't go because it was still dark outside, his reply was, "can I go up to Jesus and tell him to change the world to light so I can go right now?"
* This morning I heard Ethan ask his brother "can you lick your own armpit?"... Why would you EVER want to do that... blech!
* After church I was making lunch when I heard Ethan say to his sister, "it would be fun if we had Jesus' autograph!"... Fun?

FUNNY THINGS JED SAYS

* Jed's mom checked on him a little while after putting him to bed, when she went in the room Jed had drawn a mustache and goatee on his face with permenent marker. He said, "sorry mom I forgot what you said about drawing on ourselves." Jed's brother then told his mom to have Jed lift up his shirt. When Jed did he had drawn armpit hair and chest hair on his body as well. He then said to his mom, "I guess your little boy is all grown up."
*Jed's mom was telling Jed that he has to be careful when he swings around his little brother. She was trying to help him understand that "Joe doesn't have a sense of.....", as she was trying to think of the right word, Jed piped up..... "smell?"
